Your estimated dates

Choose a start date above to see your timeline.

These are Sunollo’s planning estimates, not a confirmed SP appointment. All gaps are calendar days. Actual dates can be earlier or later. SP confirms the appointment after the system and paperwork are ready.

SEPARATE, BUT IMPORTANT · START EARLY

Your meter and account setting must be ready for the agreed solar arrangement. A smart meter on the wall does not prove the account has changed.

    THE PAPERWORK, MADE SIMPLE

You do not have to fill in everything yourself.

Your licensed electrician—called a LEW—handles the SP applications. Your installation team helps prepare the documents.

    Complete paperwork comes first.

Before asking for inspection, your LEW checks that:

    • Every required form is complete and signed.
    • The account details, drawings and equipment details match.
    • The installed system has been tested and the required reports are ready.
    • SP’s questions and technical requirements have been dealt with.

If anything is missing or needs correcting, the dates may move.

    What happens after the inspection?

If SP asks for a repair, the team fixes it and arranges the next required check. Your LEW confirms when the system can be switched on.

Getting paid for excess solar is separate. Ask the team to prepare the NER (Net Export Rebate) application early and confirm when payments start. See the simple NER guide →

Official forms and notes for your electrician

This planner uses Sunollo’s simple 7 + 10 + 30 calendar-day estimate. It is not an SP processing-time standard, booking or guarantee. Weather, site readiness, paperwork, technical review, meter work and appointment availability can change the dates.

The guide is for residential landed homes with their own low-tension supply and embedded solar below 1 MWac. Your LEW confirms the route: supply load ≤45 kVA uses CS5 through SP eBusiness; above 45 kVA uses the LEW’s email application route. SP inspection still applies to the residential route covered here.

CS1 and technical review should be started early and can run before or alongside installation. PV1 is an SP letter, not permission to switch on. Required attachments depend on the actual application and SP’s current instructions. Building, structural, fire-safety and work-at-height permissions remain separate.

Official-source review: 5 November 2026. Have the appointed LEW approve the wording before public release.
